Rob Volmer's career spans many facets of public affairs, public relations, government relations, and international relations. Prior to co-founding Crosby-Volmer in 1997, Rob was manager of corporate communications for the Air Transport Association (ATA). Rob was a key advisor for the nation's largest airlines including United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines and Northwest Airlines.

Prior to ATA Rob managed the communications efforts for two divisions of General Electric. Rob has extensive international experience working with a wide array of clients including Honda Motors, Korean Stock Exchange, International Business Travelers Association, Samsung, Scandinavian Airline Systems, and Lufthansa German Airlines. Rob's political experience encompasses over 100 elections and ballot initiatives on the local, state and national level.
