James Fisfis leads the WRS California operation. Fisfis is an international consultant and published author in the field of quantitative and qualitative political public opinion research.
In addition to his U.S. political clients, his research and analysis has been used by United States Ambassadors and diplomats, the National Security Council, investment banking and foreign policy analysts, as well as by foreign heads of state and government ministers, the Helsinki Commission on Human Rights, and Native American tribal leaders.
Since 1998, his domestic political focus has been on Western States and particularly on California politics, where he served as Communications Director for the California Governor’s race in 2002, and as both Communications and Political Director for three consecutive Assembly Republican leaders of the California Legislature.
In addition to his California polling and research practice, Jamie has conducted survey and focus groups studies on five continents and is author of the International Republican Institute’s polling manual for field staff and of A Guide to Focus Groups for Democracy Builders. He is a frequent lecturer on political campaign applications of survey research both in the U.S. and abroad, and he has trained and developed focus group teams in Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and Southeast Asia.
James Fisfis is an attorney and was a judicial clerk for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He was graduated from the University of Notre Dame's law school and is a member of the Maryland Bar. He received his B.A. from Connecticut College.
