It is not a surprise that we love her. I am an immigrant American who has a network of friends, patients, colleagues, fellow-Asians, people who we serve in our Christian ministry. They all love her. Her attributes are admirable as a person: love, courage, hard work, personal responsibility, sacrifice, patience, joy, persistence, kindness, humility. She inspires us because we see a beautiful authentic person. That is a magnet to people. Talk is cheap. She walks the talk.

I’m glad she’s doing well. She has put up with so much crap about her and her family; I think anybody else would have collapsed from the pressure. The strange thing is, the ones constantly attacking her, are the ones that kept her alive in the news. I probably would have forgotten about her by now, but instead I find myself rooting for her just because of the unfairness - a little David against the big media Goliath kind of thing.
