Can Hoffman Win With Dede Out?

I wrote earlier this week that the power of the Tea Party would be displayed if they were able to split the vote, but I think that we can safely say that the conservatives can claim a win by pushing out Dede Scozzafava regardless of Tuesday’s results.

But, I still wonder if there is enough time for Hoffman to recoalesce the base to win on Tuesday.Â Even if Scozzafava was pulling between 12-13%, a majority of those voters will have to vote for Hoffman to give him the win.Â If they don’t turnout, we may be in trouble.

Here’s hoping that the Scozzafava gets on-board quickly so we can begin to attract her most ardent supporters.Â That’s really the only way we can win.
